Certified Identity Governance Expert® (CIGE) Application for Certification

Thank you for your interest in the Certified Identity Governance Expert (CIGE)® designation. This CIGE application is intended for use by qualified professionals to submit their candidacy for the CIGE certification.

To be eligible for certification, CIGE candidates must be members of the Identity Management Institute, submit the CIGE application below for approval, pay the required fees, and pass the online examination. If you are not currently an IMI member, please also submit a membership application.

OVERVIEW

Qualifying Point System

To be qualified for CIGE certification, candidates need at least 80 points from any of the following categories:

College education = 10 points per year
Each active professional certification = 10 points
One year of professional experience = 10 points

PROCESS

Upon receipt and approval of your CIGE application (s), you will receive an online payment link for the appropriate membership and/or certification amount. This process is introduced to pre-approve applications before payments are made and avoid the collection of credit card numbers on the application. Upon payment, you will receive a welcome email with the study guide and exam information.
